Flag antenna mounts and supports

OK, I looked at previous threads and did not see this. I need a couple of flag mounts/supports but wondered. I have the dual shorter antennas on my '89VR. I could slide them down them to their bottom but then how do I HOLD them their? anyone ever do that? I still need a couple of mounts for up on the trunk but I have never had one. Bike came with one but missing the top piece like I see many here have commented on. Advice? Thanks.

Poke a small hole in the flags and insert zip ties....this will keep the flags from sliding up the antenna's.

a rubber "O" ring will also stop it from sliding. Most flag poles come with "O" rings for that purpose..

thanks and I was thinking about just the O-ring way if that works well. did not know if anyone had a slicker way of doing it. Glad to see the KISS theory is at work here. Thanks!
