LED Passing Lamps

This has probably been discussed many times so excuse the duplicate post. I am looking for some inexpensive LED PAR36 bulbs to replace the 35W Halogens that came with the Yamaha Passing Light kit. Has anyone seen these? http://www.levineautoparts.com/betts-4416.html I wonder if they could somehow be retrofitted to fit the light housing. I could not determine if these were 4.5" or not. Anyway, looking to see what others have done here. Thanks!

You would want a narrow beam. More of a spot. Aimed properly, you won't blind oncoming drivers.

I would say they should. If it has the wires on the back instead of a screw connection on the bulb you could fix that pretty easy. I have been thinking about LED passing lights and @ $15ea I'm thinking it might be worth a shot.

On another fourm a memeber called the place mentioned in the OP (levine auto parts). They told him that the bulbs mentioned were NOT LED they were incandesents. Even though if you look at the pic the one bulb certainly looks to be an LED. At the price it dosent suprise me really. 2 good deals in the same week would be way way to much to ask for.
