Hello out there! I apologize for going about this in an awkward way, but I am really interested in buying a 2006-2207 RSV, and I was hoping that someone out there could assist me in how this forum could help me find one! I see the classified links, and I have checked it out. I also notice there is a way for me to "properly" request this kind of info, I just don't know how to go about posting my NEED for a RSV! Again, sorry for cluttering up the Watering Hole with this kind of request, but I really would like to find a great bike!

If you haven't already done so you might try typing in "2006 Yamaha Venture for sale" on google search and see if anything comes up in your area. E-bay has them from time to time and you might try local Yamaha dealers. This site is also a good source because members here will start looking and listening now. I wish you the best and you are looking for one sweet ride when looking for a Venture.

May I ask why you are looking specifically at the 2006 and 2007 models ? Did you know that there has been no change that matters from the begining of production in 1999 untill present 2013 model ? It is the same bike except for some minor upgrades like CD instead of Casette player and some different color schemes.

Don't recall at the moment but you can do a US wide search of craigslist if nothing else just to see whats out there and then maybe focus on one part of the country you are willing to go drive to check out, etc., of course there are other sources well.

 

I looked hard for an 06 bout this time last year cause I liked the color, settled on the 07 which I liked also plus $ was good.

What are the chances the "new" 2207 model still has the cassette player?

Keep in mind that the Venture comes with a 5 year warranty (starts from original date of purchase) and is transferable.

If you find one that was originally purchased in 2008 or newer you'd have some coverage if there is anything wrong with a used bike.
