Not very good pics but you get the idea. 36 X 52, wash bay on the far left looking at the front and work shop is the two doors on the right. Car hoist in the far right bay. The old truck is gone. I'm currently redoing my '32 Ford coupe.

First_N_Last Posted March 10, 2013 #22 Posted March 10, 2013 Sorry guys - I do have other things to do than work on my MC stuff. Here is my cave of solitude: Sound part - eBay purchase & 6 months to refurb to working operation... I can do my laundry & enjoy... ...great place to work from home... ...lastly - my view from my desk in the corner out the sliding glass... Life is sooooooo hard.
dacheedah Posted March 10, 2013 #23 Posted March 10, 2013 This is my work in progress, I am working on shelf doors now[ When I retired from the pd I had a 18 x 18 garage that I could not fit my truck in, and it was either my wife's car or the bike. Boats were outside so as a gift to myself I knocked it down and started building a 30 x 40 garage with storage trusses. After all the permits and approvals I started the build on weekends. Build a wall, get friends over to help me raise and plumb it. build the next wall . . . Code then made me pour a driveway so by the time I got that done it was very cold out. Then the inspector informed me they had complaints ( my old garage was in front of my house that's where the new one went) and other folks were since denied and my permit was due to expire. Not wanting to deal with that I sided it in sub zero conditions and vinyl siding doesn't like the cold. If I had to pay to build it I couldn't have afforded it. . .
Condor Posted March 10, 2013 #24 Posted March 10, 2013 OK, here goes. This is a CAVE. Not a garage. It's messy, and disarray...just like a cave should be....
