tufftom4 Posted March 2, 2013 #1 Posted March 2, 2013 I got the bike back together for the most part I have to tap the screws for the left mirror but it felt good to get her running and take it for a little ride. If you will notice besides the paint I powder coated the front wheel and the passengers floor boards, I polished everything I could while it was apart. I think it came out looking good. Here are some before and after pics. Tom
Miles Posted March 2, 2013 #2 Posted March 2, 2013 Tom, that really does look very nice...in the after shots. Nice color, and I love the black powder-coated wheels. Now, if only I could convince SilvrT to powder-coat his wheels Black. Great Looking Bike, Tom !
uncledj Posted March 2, 2013 #3 Posted March 2, 2013 Looks great, but with that paint job, you really can't even tell it's a "Venture". Congrats on a job well done.
DragonRider Posted March 3, 2013 #4 Posted March 3, 2013 Its amazing what a little fresh paint, elbow grease can do for an older bike. Really a beautiful bike you have there Tom, Hope I get to see it in person at Vogel.:clap2:
Venturous Randy Posted March 3, 2013 #5 Posted March 3, 2013 It is amazing how much newer that bike looks. RandyA
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted March 3, 2013 #6 Posted March 3, 2013 Fantastic transformation Tom, great work it does look many years newer than the original pictures.
