Now a 50 cal MAGNUM... Even Clint Eastwood would lust over :whistling:

"Go ahead PUNK, make my Year!"

A friend has one, I shot it twice, the first shot was on purpose, the second shot was airborn, as I tried to control the recoil :yikes:  I don't think I'll shoot it again, it was like shooting both barrels of a 12Ga. mag pistol at once! I think he said it was like $4 a pop. Good thing there was 4 miles of open swamp beyond the targets.

For concealed carry I have a Kel-Tec P11 9mm. Hides easily in wasteband and is comfortable. My wife prefers our S&W .40 Sigma as she carries in a special pocket in the end of her purse that has a built in holster. At the range she prefers shooting it over the Kel-Tec also. It's heavier and she doesn't have to control the recoil as much. We also have a 9mm Sigma, a S&W Victory 38 revolver, a 1894 32-20 Colt revolver. When in Oklahoma I can open carry the Sigma with no problem, it's just harder to conceal, especially on a motorcycle and be comfortable for many miles.

You have to figure out for yourself how you are going to use it. I have hand guns that range from .22 to .45 caliber. But I carry my Taurus tcp 738 in .380 caliber every day on my person. I also keep others in the vehicle on long trips. But i always say if I knew I was going to need it I would perfer one of my .45's. I carry the smaller gun because carrying a full size .45 is hard to do. I do like my sigma .40 now that I had the trigger worked on.

AS many suggested try some out at a local gun range and research a lot before you make a decision. Remember to understand "

Why do you need this gun" What is its purpose? How will you carry it?Remember its only good if you have it when you need it loaded and ready to use.

Here in Texas we can carry in our cars without a carry permit and if you get a permit you can carry concealed. Personally I chose one that I could carry conceal easily with enough stopping power that I feel confident that it will serve its purpose if and when I need to use it. My Concealed carry is a Ruger LC9 9mm. Its thin and light and very accurate at it intended useage range. I tried out others and researched for weeks before I made the puchase though. Yep I carry it even when on my Horse LOL. Dont go "cheap" as that could get you killed. Spend wisely and be confident it will work when needed.

There's my :2cents: :7_6_3[1]: vroom vroom BANG BANG!!
