Dale124 Posted March 1, 2013 #1 Posted March 1, 2013 I am now in possession of my brand spanking new, 2013 Yamaha Royal Star Venture! YAY! I put a deposit on it about 6 weeks ago, then brought them a cheque for the balance 2 weeks ago, and this fine Friday morning, they brought me the bike. She looks great sitting in my garage. It will be a while til it is on the road, as we still have lots of snow here in Edmonton, but taking possession is a step in the right direction. I can't wait to take her out Dale. P.S. Does anyone know if there is license plate mounting hardware with a new bike? I picked up a plate this afternoon, but don't see any mounting hardware.
jfoster Posted March 1, 2013 #2 Posted March 1, 2013 Congratulations ! It should have a small bracket just above the tail light.
XV1100SE Posted March 1, 2013 #4 Posted March 1, 2013 usually the dealer will give you a cheap plastic plate holder. Definitely better options out there!
cecdoo Posted March 2, 2013 #6 Posted March 2, 2013 :ice_congrats-vi6886I guess your first "safety chrome" purchase is gonna be a chrome license plate holder with led lites:mo money: Craig

Dale124 Posted March 2, 2013 Author #10 Posted March 2, 2013 I don't see where I can upload a picture to show you all. I looked for the "pictures and albums" link in my user c.p., but it is not there. Perhaps as a "trial member", we are unable to add photos.
Trader Posted March 5, 2013 #12 Posted March 5, 2013 just scroll down the same page as used to enter a post....under the "additional options" title bar. There is a button to "manage attachments"

Hopefully Yamaha will be sending the ipod and the I-simple solutions interface connector. Time will tell.

Hey, Vasquelli, how long did it take for you to get your iPod and connector? Also, did you get 2 tiny little Allen nuts with a tiny Allen wrench in with your manual? I'm not sure what they are for. The dealer did not know either.
Aussie Annie Posted March 6, 2013 #24 Posted March 6, 2013 Congrats on the new ride. Now the best money you will spend on it is the $12 membership for this site!! The knowledge and friendship in here is priceless
