Been Working on a 1st Gen Patch...

I've been working on a 1st Gen Patch. I've had some comments that it would be nice to have a patch specfically for a 1st Gen. I've modified the previous Venture patch to be more 1st Gen specific.

 

I'd like to open it up for suggestions.

 

One goal was to have major colors to represent the various colors as close as I can.

(Black/White/Blue/Maroon/Blonde/

 

I'm trying to get a darker and bright blue and a darker and brighter maroon.

 

I'm going to change the big V from maroon to tan for there seems to be this thing about Blondes.

 

I'm hoping to have the Number "1" available in the major colors except White.

 

I will experiment the various objects to different colors for eye appeal.

The Blue and Maroon object might get switched.

The Balls on crowns might get colors to match the various colors.

1300 will also be available

 

Open to your suggestions but can't make any promises.

You've got my interest Brian! My comment, the emblem you are using still looks like a "Star" patch. First gens are pre "Star" line...

Just a suggestion, instead of the '1', '1st Gen' would be more descriptive.

1200 is only the MKIs though. What about us MKII folks with 1300 engines?

1300 will be an available option per the initial post. But I like the V4 idea.... Maybe I can incorporate that some where

I like the idea of the "fancy V" someone here long ago told us what font name made that fancy V but I do not recall it.

And I am also supporting the notion that all Ventures are not Royales' and many are 1300s as was clarified earlier.

 

But and awesome starting point, I am sure there has been much work put into it and it is great you are doing this..... yes I will take a few when they are done.

My only suggestion is like others have a 4 for V4 and remove the Royale for those that don't have that model other that that I like it and want one when its ready.
