I just helped solodad put a set on his rstd and what little bit he has been able to ride he likes them so far

Phoneman1981 Posted February 23, 2013 #4 Posted February 23, 2013 Hello: The norm seems to be, replace RSTD stock bars with Flanders bars and then replace standard RSV bars with RSTD bars. Just my observation. RSV bars seem narrow to me. I prefer the wider pull back bars for my RSTD.
dwatson636 Posted February 23, 2013 Author #5 Posted February 23, 2013 Yea I understand, But I saw a pair of RSV bars on fleabay and I was just wondering if anyone had done that. I liked how the handle bars felt when I test rode the RSV. Not sure how they would feel on the RSTD.
jfoster Posted February 23, 2013 #6 Posted February 23, 2013 There may be a clearance issue putting the RSV bars on a RSTD with the speedometer, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Previously, everyone that posted changing the bars out went with the Flanders, but I think someone stated they discontinued them. Give it some time, others will chime in with more accurate information.
