KIC Posted February 22, 2013 #1 Posted February 22, 2013 Okay, this just came up in another thread and I thought I would ask the many smart, and the few not-so-smart members out there. When I changed my plugs for the first time after buying my 89, I found a quarter between the front left spark plug boot and the cylinder head. ( Photos below) Now another member just bought a bike and found a dime between his spark plug boot and front cylinder head. These coins can't just "fall there" , so.... is there reason for this ? Is this a good luck charm or something ?
ragtop69gs Posted February 22, 2013 #2 Posted February 22, 2013 It's so you can call home for a trailer when your antique breaks down on the road. :rotfl:

Snaggletooth Posted February 22, 2013 #5 Posted February 22, 2013 Throw some change on top of the tank cover and watch where it goes. It's like playing Plinko. It's weird where stuff wanders off to on a bikes. I feel cheated, All I've found is nuts, bolts, screws, washers and paperclips.
