The hunting trip got cancelled after we got 12 inches of snow and bad roads. Finally got enough snow out of the way that the dealer could deliver the new bike, and have been safety equipment (chrome) on the new ride.

I found some more items that I took off the RSV that will not work on the new ride. I have a backrest that is excellent shape, with all the mounting brackets and bolts. A Stebel air horn with the mount to go on the RSV, and a CD player. The CD player has never been out of the box.

Hope to get the new bike out this weekend and get some pictures posted.:fingers-crossed-emo

What are you asking for the air horn? I am highly interested. Please PM me. I can not answer on the forum from work. Thanks.

I am waiting for the 2014 Indian. 111 Thunderstroke engine w/6 speed OD tranny. Reported to have a touring model. Won't be announced until Sturgis, but the engine was announced at Daytona this week. www.indianmotorcycle.com

:farmer:

The Cheapest 2013 model is $26499.00 up to $37,899. For that kind of money Indian would not be on my short list. I wonder how many they are selling at that price??

Of course if Polaris can establish it as a low volume, high status brand, cudos to the marketing department. Just the pricing will make it a bike not everyone on the block will have. Polaris will also have to make a distinct separation between the Indian and Victory Lines. Time will tell....

Polaris would be wise to blitz the True Story Movie "World's Fastest Indian" over as many televison network outlets as they can. Great movie. Anyone who hasn't seen it, needs to.

And so its not a total Thread hijack. Congrats to Steve on the New Ride. PM sent about the backrest.
