I finally got the plastics back from paint it looks different from the chip I looked at but still looks good and it looks better in the sun with the metalic in it. I still have work to do on the bike before I can put them on, the only custom thing I did was there was an ugly emblem on the front fender and had the holes filled and had and airbrushed V that Voyager uses I think it came out nice. People that have Kawi Voyagers know this emblem.

It is supposed to be a true Maroon but came out lighter than I thought and it cost 1200$ with me taking it apart but doing no prep, it is a base coat clear coat and color sanded and polished.

All kidding aside it looks really good and with it back on the bike will look even better. :bighug:Agreed it is a lot of work prepping for paint work then putting it all back.

I had a bike painted a few years back was supposed to be racing green turned out mint green was not that happy but looked great when everything back on the bike.

If your under fluorescent or other man made lighting, it will definately change the color.

"Daylight" bulbs work the best.

Had a 65 mustang I restored "poppy Red".

In the garage it looked orange, but in the direct sunlight...SWEEET! :cool10:

Wow, my paint rates just went up! I see I am not charging nearly enough.
