Freebird Posted February 4, 2008 #1 Posted February 4, 2008 I've added a new feature to the forum that some of you may find useful. When you click on the "search" link in the menu bar, you will now find an option to use "Google" to search the forum. I did this because there was a recent report where a member was looking for a specific thread about installing a Markland Hitch and it didn't come up in the search. Now I just experimented with this. If you use the normal search and enter "Markland Hitch Install", it returns about three threads. If you use the Google search it returns about 2 pages of threads. There is also an option there to search the entire Web or only the VentureRider forum. You WILL see some ads at the top and bottom of the search results pages. They should be related to your search though and just like the Google Ads on the side of the forum, I DO make a couple of penneys to help support the site if anybody sees one of interest and clicks on it. So.....I hope you find the new feature helpful.
eagleeye Posted February 5, 2008 #5 Posted February 5, 2008 I'll check it out sometime, but, I feel that of all of the sites that I visit, that you have set up the best search that I have ever seen. Steve
