I noticed a few posts earlier about this.. Thought I would start another one and see if anyone has ideas! I'd like to add rear speakers to my '84 for my little brother. Our old Kawasaki Voyager had them and I thought about getting some of those to put on. Any other ideas?

Attached are a few pictures of speakers I put into my saddlebags last year.

I can't be of much help as to what speakers to get though. There is an electronics recycler place near me, and I found an HP monitor speaker set one day that looked like speakers would fit. Gave him $5 for it and they worked.

Not waterproof, but i doubled up a sandwich bag and captured it between speaker & bag.

I t could use an amplifier on system, when I get front & rears balanced, the volume won't go up quite high enough to overcome surrounding noise.

I had a set of 2" round tweeters in year before, they were about worthless.

I remember one of our Canadian members (Mother) had a set of speaker pods on the top of his trunk. You would have to do some fabricating, but it can and has been done. Obviously you should use an after market radio as a stock stereo just isn't up to the task of pushing 4 speakers....

Mothers were similar to the ones on the rear of the Kawi. Looked quite good.

But his was an 86.
