SilvrT Posted February 18, 2013 #1 Posted February 18, 2013 After Pimpin my Punk'n I was getting bored so, decided to start rippin apart the VTX1300 and rebuilding it. This bike belongs to daughter's b/f and has been sitting for around 6 years, 4 of which have been at my place. Gas tank is rusty, petcock is gummed up and useless, carb is gummed up ... not sure what else it will need but I'm going thru everything, including a new paint job. Condor Posted February 18, 2013 #7 Posted February 18, 2013 Almost bought a VTX1900 before I found the '83VR. It had a Vance and Hines exhaust. Sounded impressive.... Something to think about??....
