Someone asked me at the IMS show what I thought would be coming out. At the time I had no idea.

 

After that I saw the Honda CB1100. It's an 1100 in line 4 standard motorcycle. That tells me the marketing guys see a market for a large displacement standard.

 

The few glimpses in the video look like a standard. My bet is they're building a standard around the FJR drive line. That'll be a 1300cc in line 4, fuel injected, shaft drive standard.

yeah, i like that triumph trophy too, it looks good !

 

It was real close between the new FJR and the Trophy SE. Although the Trophy SE was close to $5k more.

This is another year my pocketbook saves me from this problem. BUt my 1st Gens provide me with "Hang On" preformance and give me something to do. I really am not sure if I would buy a new one if I could. Warden tells me to get a new one and get rid of all the old junk!!!:duck:When Hardleys (and 2nd Gens) start outrunning "Brown Sugar" I will do that!!
