aharbi Posted February 17, 2013 #1 Posted February 17, 2013 Just got this from from Mama Yamaha: Less is More and I just ordered (last week) a Triumph Trophy SE but will keep the Venture, it's my wife's bike I just steer it.
jfoster Posted February 17, 2013 #2 Posted February 17, 2013 The Triumph looks nice....the Yamaha video looks like a mid sized chain drive to keep with all the new chain drive 700's from Honda.
MiCarl Posted February 17, 2013 #4 Posted February 17, 2013 Someone asked me at the IMS show what I thought would be coming out. At the time I had no idea. After that I saw the Honda CB1100. It's an 1100 in line 4 standard motorcycle. That tells me the marketing guys see a market for a large displacement standard. The few glimpses in the video look like a standard. My bet is they're building a standard around the FJR drive line. That'll be a 1300cc in line 4, fuel injected, shaft drive standard.
awsmsrv Posted February 17, 2013 #5 Posted February 17, 2013 In that short clip, looks like 3 wheels to me.
22lyons Posted February 17, 2013 #7 Posted February 17, 2013 nope...what looked like a three wheel is a car in the left lane...i had to look again!
Wade 2000 Posted February 17, 2013 #8 Posted February 17, 2013 Maybe some more mid- model year releases coming?? Maybe some kinda touring bike??
RandyR Posted February 18, 2013 #9 Posted February 18, 2013 That new Triumph Trophy looks real good. Hmm... Maybe I'll get a big tax rebate this year?
friesman Posted February 18, 2013 #10 Posted February 18, 2013 yeah, i like that triumph trophy too, it looks good !

Yammer Dan Posted February 19, 2013 #12 Posted February 19, 2013 This is another year my pocketbook saves me from this problem. BUt my 1st Gens provide me with "Hang On" preformance and give me something to do. I really am not sure if I would buy a new one if I could. Warden tells me to get a new one and get rid of all the old junk!!!:duck:When Hardleys (and 2nd Gens) start outrunning "Brown Sugar" I will do that!!
jakester Posted February 19, 2013 #13 Posted February 19, 2013 Less is more.....gota mean no casette deck and higher price???? I jst couldn't resist.
