Daitan, First off, let me welcome you to the site. I am one of the moderators here and I have been diligently searching for your original post. So far, I can not find it. Normally, when a post is heading south and in "question" the moderators send eachother emails saying to watch the post and we get a concensus on if that post should be deleted. The originator of the post is sent an email explaing why thier post is being delted. I recieved no emails on your original post in that is was suspect of heading south. Was your deleted accidently?? Im leaning my thoughts in that direction rigth now but Im still searching. If there is mention of politics the thread could have been deleted with out sending emails first. Politics are a no no here. If it was related to religion, it would have been reviewed for content and possibly moved to the religion section unless is was totally inappropriate and would end up deleted. Usually an email follows deletion. Sexual content is also a no no here and is automaticlaly deleted with out moderator concensus, and an email is sent to originator. Im feel right now that your post was accidentally deleted, and one of the other moderators and or Freebird will do some checking and drop you a line if one of them delted it. Usually, if you post is deleted you will recieve an email explaing rationale as to why.. Since you did not recieve an email from the "deleter"...I feel this was a mistake or accidental deleation of you post. Lets give it a day or so and see if another moderator can find it or explain more to you. Hang in there.. we are a friendly bunch and surely dont want you to get the wrong impression of the site..Thanks for your patients, and your concern for posting this question. And I can assure you, with some of the other members who saw it, that it was a legitimate post with nothing forbidden on it. No political, or vulgar or religious words in what so ever. Just a straight post about a set of pipes. But, thank you and as you said, it was probably deleted by mistake. no worries.

We have company this weekend and I was up late last night and just checking the forum this morning. It was I who deleted the post. Sometimes I will send a message to the member but most of the time I do not. There was nothing vulgar about your post but I'm sure that you notice that we do have a classifieds area. If you had tried to post the mufflers in that correct area, you would have seen that only supporting members can post to the classifieds. The reason for that is that otherwise, we could get flooded with spam posts and other for sale items from people with no intention of actually participating in the group but just trying to sell things. There have been several times when people register here, realize that they can't post to the classifieds and so just post to the forums with things they want to sell. That sort of defeats the purpose of having the classified area restricted to members. Now I also want to say this. I did not make the decision to restrict the classifieds by myself. It was publicly discussed here and the members were the ones who felt that the classifieds should be open only to supporting members. There is some comfort in knowing that they are buying from a person who is part of the group and not just some stranger. So I am sorry that I took so long to respond and am sorry about any confusion that this caused but now you know. I also want to take this opportunity to welcome you again. We are glad you have joined us and I do hope that you can make it to Maintenance Day in Oberlin, OH. It is a great chance to meet many of the great folks here.

When is the maintenance day in ohio? go into the calendar section up in the heading and click on it.... go to june....there u will see it listed for the 8th...click on it and sign up if u plan on attending.......we ( the WNY GROUP ) will be there....also sign up for the WNY mini rally in august.....

But come summer, I'll be busy and lucky to get dinner before having to go to bed. To get up early for the next day. But, yeah...This place feels good so far. Gotten allot of good vibes from members thus far.
