Since I am going nuts with this snowstorm we have going on, I've been thinking (this alone is scary). Many of you commented on my Dairy Queen favorite thread about your favorite item. I mentioned that I didnt like their burgers. So here is a followup question.

What is your favorite fast food restaurant and why?

I would have to say McDonalds is still my favorite. I love their fries, and I usually just eat their hamburgers. Nothing better than fresh hot fries from McDonalds.......Washed down with a carton of milk!

I'm with you BJ Micky D's can't be beat. Fries are best there are and burgers I always order Double Quarter and tell them to dress it like a Mac. Hard to beat but I never met a burger I didn't like. Most times I could do a good burger instead of steak.

I don't do fast food, that stuff will kill you! However, there is a local Mexican fast food chain, Mighty Taco, that I sometimes go to. Love their bean and cheese burritos...

Five Guys Burgers would have to be my favorite fast food burger joint.

Love Five Guys. Whattaburger is great too. Both are better than In-N-Out... I've no idea what the left coast people see in that. Lame fries, weak burger.

Widely available nod goes to McD's, which is reliably delicious globally.

Well I won't even go into a Rotten Ronald's, that would be a last resort to ward off starvation. But I do like A&W, any of their burgers are great with their A&W root beer!

Locally the best fast food is Nite Owl butter burgers. The kind where you want to roll up your sleeves because the butter (not fat, real butter) will be running down your arm the small burger is a 1/2 pounder. They also are a fantastic ice cream stand.

As far as national chains go, it would have to be the Whopper from Bugger king.

I used to be an In&Out guy. They do have good burgers. Crappy fries. But, now it is Five Guys. Double bacon cheeseburger all the way no mushrooms. Looks just like the picture.

But if it were just fries, back in Pittsburgh is a place called The Original Hotdog. When you order a large fries, It is the entire contents of a full fryer basket. And brown gravy to dip them.

Probably Sonic then Wendy's After that Unless I am getting just Coffee I avoid McDonald's as in my opinion their food tastes all the same, Grease and Onions.

I might have to go on a road trip just to find a Five Guys. That looks awesome.

I like Wendys too, Like their Spicy Chicken Sandwich

Burger Kings Whoppers are good fries arent as good

Arby's Beef and Cheddars are good. But not a curly fry guy, and dont like the potato cakes

A good regional mexican food chain around here is Taco Johns, way better than Taco Bell

Like Subway and Jimmy Johns

Hardees, like the Hot Ham and Cheese. But I've probly only eaten there 1 time in the last year.

Culvers....not for me

9 bucks with tax but you get enough fries for 3 people. The fries are 3 bucks and the burger is 5 then tax.
