Eddie Posted February 9, 2013 #1 Posted February 9, 2013 I seen this bike at the International show . I never paid attention to it as it has been around for a few years. Very comfortable. I want one . Anybody ever rode one. It sure has some nice lines.
wrenchrob Posted February 9, 2013 #2 Posted February 9, 2013 I have never rode one either but I think they definitely look very cool
Stanman Posted February 9, 2013 #4 Posted February 9, 2013 I guess I'm different, but it looks too "choppered" me. I don't like it at all.
Eck Posted February 9, 2013 #5 Posted February 9, 2013 A friend of mine has one in Painesville, Ohio. Every time I have come up to Freebirds Maintenance day, I saw him, and rode with him. I never rode his but I did sit on it, and I like being flat footed on the ground with knees able to bend. I cant do this on my GW. He had his for two years and I heard that last year he sold it and bought a GW 1800. I didnt see him last year so I havent had a chance to find out why he sold it, but he always talked highly of it whe he had it.
Condor Posted February 9, 2013 #6 Posted February 9, 2013 I bet he doesn't do a whole lot of touring with that thing. I wonder what the rider feels like after doing a couple of hundred mile ride.... Maybe that's why he traded it for a GW??
Wade 2000 Posted February 9, 2013 #7 Posted February 9, 2013 My brother was looking for a bike last year and really considered a Fury I think it was the Interstate version. He decided the seat was too narrow and hard ( split the boys) so he ended up with a Road Star and he's very happy with it
ediddy Posted February 9, 2013 #8 Posted February 9, 2013 Too plain. Now I would love to have a yamaha raider. It has class.
Wade 2000 Posted February 9, 2013 #9 Posted February 9, 2013 Too plain. Now I would love to have a yamaha raider. It has class. And a big wide seat! I could do some miles on a Raider but I don't think I could on a Fury
ACE50 Posted February 9, 2013 #10 Posted February 9, 2013 Too plain. Now I would love to have a yamaha raider. It has class. Oh ya!
ZRX1100 Posted February 9, 2013 #12 Posted February 9, 2013 Sat on one at the bike show, most uncomfortable thing I've ever been on and I've ridden a CBR929RR
Skid Posted February 10, 2013 #13 Posted February 10, 2013 A friend of mine had one he rode a good bit. He liked it real well. He done a couple minor mods to the exhaust. Very clean looking bike.
Eddie Posted February 10, 2013 Author #14 Posted February 10, 2013 The bike is no touring bike. I thought the same thing about being uncomfortable and was real surprised how untrue that was. You can really stretch out on it.
PBJ Posted February 10, 2013 #15 Posted February 10, 2013 there is a version that comes with a windshield and hard bags its designated a Tourer like the old Honda shadow tour.
