calperin Posted February 4, 2013 #1 Posted February 4, 2013 Guys, Just to let you know that last monday surgery was done. I spent all the week on the hospital (a little painfull). So I 'm back home since yesterday afternoon, with pain killers, drugs, anti-constipation pills, etc... I have 7 weeks in front to recover, look for a new SUV, think on fix the bikes to put it back to ride, etc... And thanks god to let me recover from this one... Carlos
Wrench Posted February 4, 2013 #3 Posted February 4, 2013 Continued good luck with the mending Carlos. I know how hard that recovery thing can be, but it's all good when you're healed up.
CaptainJoe Posted February 4, 2013 #4 Posted February 4, 2013 listen to your DR. and heal quick... In 7 weeks we will be in spring riding season!

mini-muffin Posted February 4, 2013 #7 Posted February 4, 2013 Just remember to do what you are suppose to. I know how you guys are "I feel fine" then you do something to set yourself back. Gotta get better so you can ride when it warms up. Heal fast Margaret
Eddie Posted February 4, 2013 #8 Posted February 4, 2013 Glad to hear it Carlos, now get better quick before Mike wants his bike back
Marcarl Posted February 4, 2013 #9 Posted February 4, 2013 Hopefully that's a good step behind you and will set you up for good healing. We will keep rooting for you, so keep us posted as to how it's going, even if you need to complain and groan at times. God Bless Carl
bongobobny Posted February 4, 2013 #10 Posted February 4, 2013 Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery Carlos!!
pmelah Posted February 4, 2013 #12 Posted February 4, 2013 take your time heal up in about 3 to 4 weeks you can start working on the bike and in 8 weeks you should be able to do ride therapy and lots of it
calperin Posted April 16, 2013 Author #13 Posted April 16, 2013 Guys, Thanks a lot for the prays and good wishes. This week I'm back to the office, can drive but still on PT for another couple of weeks. I don't walk 100% normal, but no more walkers or canes... The knee was totally healed, but I still feels like is hard to flex it. Everybody says that it will come with the time, but I don't have too much patient... I'm figuring out how hard will be to be back on the bike... Again, thanks a lot for your support. Carlos :backinmyday:
