GAWildKat Posted January 30, 2013 #2 Posted January 30, 2013 There's a tornado in the Upson County/ Taylor County area too (that's about an hour west of me) A friend in Atlanta also texted me and said he was hunkered down in Atlanta waiting for a tornado to pass
meach Posted January 30, 2013 #3 Posted January 30, 2013 Just got a lot of rain here in Marietta, hour or so north in Adairsville got slammed. Local news out of Atlanta was reporting at least a hundred cars overturned on I75 as tornado moved out of Adairsville and crossed the interstate, we'll see how many cars it actually was, lot of damage in and around the town. Cars were tossed around like toys.
Guest scarylarry Posted January 30, 2013 #4 Posted January 30, 2013 Lot of wind and rain here, no damage reported.. Wind did rip my grill cover off though, so it was strong winds..
Wrench Posted January 31, 2013 #5 Posted January 31, 2013 It blew over a semi on I-65 north of Bowling Green, and there were a couple of low-end tornadoes confirmed not too far from here. About the only thing it did around our house was blow the doors open for this stinkin', rotten, bone-chillin' cold to come in,,,,BRRRRRRR!
