Pegasus1300 Posted February 2, 2013 #101 Posted February 2, 2013 Just read thru all these and they are really fun.Sorry you have to put up with me 3 times in a row,But I just answered posts as I went along. 1st Bike 1956 AJS S.O.B and it was 2nd bike 1969 Norton "Norton" ( what would you call it) 3rd 1972 BMW "Silver" 4th 1969 Bridgestone 350 GTR Grrrrrrrrreeeaaaattt 1983 Venture Pegasus 1986 Venture Royale Pegasus 1300 1987 VR Golden Hind (Sir Francis Drake's ship that he went around the world in) 2008 RSTD New Blue 2008 RSV didn't stick around long enough to get introduced 1990 Goldwing Trike the Whale I guess the truth is I haven't cared enough about this bike to find out it's name but Whale will do for now. I hated the AJS it was a piece of junk when I bought it and being a new rider didn't help the relationship. As for the Goldwing I just don't care about it,I don't feel connected to it.As soon as I can it will be going away and I will get something else, maybe replace it with an RSV trike.
bmxndad Posted February 2, 2013 #102 Posted February 2, 2013 Had her for 7 years. No name yet. Have always wanted to name her, but nothing has ever come to me. I thinks its one of those, I will know its time, when its time.

Miles Posted February 3, 2013 #106 Posted February 3, 2013 We generally name our bikes by way of a personalized license plate we put on each. So, with that in mind, the current bikes we are riding are labeled: Wifes' 2005 Honda Helix: GL-250 (as in mini-wing) Wifes' 2002 Honda Magna 750: MAGNUT My 2006 RSMTD: WRAITH My 2004 Burgman 650: ST-650 My 2012 Yam Super Tenere': S-10 (sold and picked up yesterday)
Solodadof2 Posted February 3, 2013 #107 Posted February 3, 2013 My RSTD is Blue Thunder My kids were used to hearing my kawaski voyager which sounded like a sewing maching. When I got the RSTD it had roadhouse slip on, so the kids started teasing me about taking out blue thunder. My Kawasaki Voyager is Little Red.
