SilvrT Posted January 24, 2013 #1 Posted January 24, 2013 I know we can use Google search from the search menu here but, here's another way... From the main Google search page you can type in " site:venturerider.org" For example, in Google, if I want to search for "levelling link", I would type in .... levelling link site:venturerider.org Produces about 304 results, all from this site.
ragtop69gs Posted January 24, 2013 #2 Posted January 24, 2013 you can also use that search format to search craigslist nationwide.
BuddyRich Posted January 24, 2013 #3 Posted January 24, 2013 I am using several search engines as it seems Google seems to be geared more towards "buying" on line more and more. If I want just info Google seems to be losing out. I have always used it but that maybe changing shortly.

Kirby Posted January 24, 2013 #5 Posted January 24, 2013 I use DuckDuckGo on my Linux desktop. Simple and usually gives me just what I want.
SilvrT Posted January 24, 2013 Author #6 Posted January 24, 2013 I use DuckDuckGo on my Linux desktop. Simple and usually gives me just what I want. I just did a search for "search trick site:venturerider.org" in both Google and DuckDuckgo This thread was at the top of the list in Google. Doesn't appear at all in DuckDuck Seems Duckduck doesn't index on thread Title ... it did; however, find a lot of threads with the words "Search" OR "trick" within the post body.
