3pettz Posted January 17, 2013 #1 Posted January 17, 2013 Just installed Sky Doc's clutch upgrade kit. It was straight forward with no issues. Had to buy a torque wrench from sears . I was able to get the wire off without cutting it and installed the extra clutch plate. Went for a quick ride to top off and wow! Feel the power! Thanks Sky doc!
Phoneman1981 Posted January 17, 2013 #2 Posted January 17, 2013 Glad to hear your success story. I too purchased a kit from Earl. Just have not found time to install it yet.
Carbon_One Posted January 17, 2013 #3 Posted January 17, 2013 Got a new kit in my ride as well. Haven't ridden the bike yet but know it'll be up to the task anyhow. Larry

skydoc_17 Posted January 17, 2013 #6 Posted January 17, 2013 Hey Ed, Thank You for the kind words about the Clutch Install. This is the time of the year when many of us are not able to ride for weather reasons. This makes it an excellent time to take care of maintenance issues that get overlooked when the weather is good, and you would rather be ridin' than wrenchin'. We had three inches of snow here in South Central Pennsylvania just yesterday. Come on SPRING! Thanks Again, and congrats on the install Ed, Earl
