I could go for one of these. A wing not so much, just sportyer looking I guess. Not all that extra plastic stuff hanging on it too. For me I would have to add a luggage rack and passenger backrest for the navagator but thats OK.

I would buy this bike if I were you Dave. I just want to ride it once. Very nice looking bagger. I just love the look. Kawasaki has a bagger too.

It looks like Honda decided to get back into the "Valkyrie" style cruiser but without investing as much time and money for a "niche" bike (The economy was in better shape then). Nice for the guy (or girl!) who wants something different in a bagger with a good ride, low vibrations, comfort and more available aftermarket accessories then you can shake a stick at. As well, if the gas mileage figures I've seen for the Valkyrie were accurate, you'll be able to cruise this one without going broke with frequent fill-ups!

It';s not for everyone but many will like it and Honda stands a good chance of making a profit with it.

Id have one if I could swing the payments right now

:)

I'll second that. Local dealer has a black single seater and the red double seater. Would like to trade one of the vmax's in on it but.

Loved it Dave: Also saw it at this show. Only one in Canada right now and making the show rounds. Was in Calgary when the international show was on so it was not there. It is only available in black in Canada but you can get black or red in the USA. Go figure??

Same goes with the cb1100a. White only in Canada but white and red in the USA???

There was one on display at the downtown Toronto Bike Show. Sure looks good Dave, and it suits you - fast and sleek!!

I really liked the Kawasaki Voyager, then they came out with the trunkless job Vaquero. It comes in black or a red with blacked out trim and engine bits. I looked one over at a dealer. Sat on it checked things out. I dont think the heat issue is quite as bad on the Vaquero as the Voyager and suposedly they got that "fixed" But the seat for the 10 min I sat on it was dang uncomfortable. So rite of the git go youd have to put a seat on it, I bet the Honda you could ride from shore to shore and not change anything.

Goes to show ya Dave you need to hang out around here more.

...ain't THAT the truth...AND I just discovered that the 2013 FJR has CRUISE CONTROL...that just about settles it, I'm hooked. WAIT, WAIT...DAM, DAM, DAM, crap, crap, crap...I'm only seeing it offered in gray...pewk...well so much for that dream...that just about settles it for another year at least, I guess.

PLUS I did see that CB1100A, but not at the show booth, only saw it online...too bad about the chain drive though. Didn't one of the old '80s Honda models, like a 900cc, have a shaft drive? That might have cinched it too.

Still...WOW...cruise control on an FJR!!! How could I have been out of touch for so long?!?! Nobody tells me anything!! BUT, why, why, why did they put THAT paint on it??? Is it really gray? It looks more like that gray/pink/purple/green snotty slime that they put on the 2nd gen model that Freebird has!

Sorry Joe, but my comment was a "tease" for original poster of this thread...

Swifty may need riding lesson before he can ride one. He is a little "slow"....:whistling::rasberry:
