The day that Hannah and I flew out of Learmouth near Exmouth when I retired, I heard someone say that it was 123 degrees. Two weeks later when we landed in Knoxville, it was in the upper 40's. Geez we nearly froze walking out to the car! :yikes:

Several years ago my boss tried to get me to fly to Australia in January because the air conditioners that we built were failing.

I thought it sounded like fun till I found out that they were failing because the temps were 130-140+F in the shade. The AC units were only designed for a max of 130F.

I then explained to my boss that he should go, and I will stay here to figure out what needs to be done and then he can implement the field change. I spent a bunch of time running in and out of a 150F environmental chamber testing the "fix". that was bad enough. I cant imagine being there.
