ACE50 Posted January 4, 2013 #1 Posted January 4, 2013 I've seen 2 different firing orders listed during a search. 1-3-2-4 and 1-3-4-2. Is 1st and 2nd gen the same? Mine is 2nd gen. Just putting an excel cheat doc together. Tired of rumaging though manual for little stuff.
Cougar Posted January 4, 2013 #2 Posted January 4, 2013 (edited) 2nd Gen sitting on the bike left rear is #1 , left front is #2 right rear is #3 and right front is #4 1 - 3 -2 - 4 #1 is lr #2 is lf #3 is rr #4 is rf AND 1st Gen fireing Order is 1-3-4-2 Cylinders are: hl = #1 fl = #2 hr = #3 fr = #4 Edited January 4, 2013 by Cougar
MiCarl Posted January 4, 2013 #3 Posted January 4, 2013 AND 1st Gen fireing Order is 1-3-4-2 Cylinders are: hl = #1 fl = #2 hr = #3 fr = #4 The firing sequence listed in the 1st gen book is incorrect. 1st gen firing order is also 1-3-2-4. The correct firing order can be seen in the cam degree chart on the same page as the typo. If you think about it, the order listed in the book would require a very funky crankshaft.
