darthandy Posted December 22, 2012 #27 Posted December 22, 2012 Yep! Great show. Love the episode where Penny gives Sheldon the napkin with Leonard Nimoy's autograph! Hilarious! Andy
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted December 22, 2012 #28 Posted December 22, 2012 The best number is 73! You guys have no idea, my oldest son is a Sheldon, he is an Astro-Physicist. Dang I am not sure even how to spell it! People ask me what that is........ I tell them, Expensive. We have understood little of what he does since he was about 13. In middle school he tossed. His calculator out of his back pack and said it was too slow, I offered to buy him a new one and he said he could do it in his head faster than punching all the buttons. He graduated with what he called "the group of seven" the only seven that started and finished the four year bachelor's degree as a group. Have them over for dinner and you could not understand most of their conversations. Now at 26, as of last week, he is studying the String Theory to get a Masters degree in Physics. Don't even ask me what that is.........
alwrmcusn Posted December 22, 2012 #29 Posted December 22, 2012 I think that each of us knows someone who is just like one of the persons on the show. I know in my 68 years I have met and known various people who could be ringers for (pick one) the characters on the show. What I don't know is which character on the show do I remind people of?
AKRefugee Posted December 22, 2012 #31 Posted December 22, 2012 Knock knock knock Penny Knock knock knock Penny Knock knock knock Penny Knock knock knock Penny Knock knock knock Penny Yeah I watch it. Wizard765 Posted December 24, 2012 #38 Posted December 24, 2012 We like it a lot. My daughter got us watching it a few years ago. She is a social butterfly and loves people.. Her boyfriend is majoring in Physics... We can relate..
Rick Haywood Posted December 24, 2012 #39 Posted December 24, 2012 Leondard is just to funny:thumbsup2:
CaptainJoe Posted December 24, 2012 #40 Posted December 24, 2012 Watched two or three episodes off and on last year... Can't take the Sheldon character... the "know it all" , "I'm better than you" type... Guess it's funny to some extent, just not my cup of tea. Give me a Tim Taylor "Tool Time" anyday.... Dang I miss that show...
Miles Posted December 24, 2012 #41 Posted December 24, 2012 I think that each of us knows someone who is just like one of the persons on the show. There "are" people just like that...on this forum. (gulp), going back into my room.
JohnT Posted December 24, 2012 #42 Posted December 24, 2012 Leondard is just to funny:thumbsup2: With just a simple look, or a dry quip, Leonard can get me rolling. My wife and I watch the reruns of the reruns. To me that just shows that funny is funny. (Penny) "Sheldon, does that feel like my elbow?" "Then maybe you should let it go." Later in the episode (Sheldon) "The hero always peeks." Tears in my eyes funny episode after episode. My wife and I have been faithful viewers since the beginning.
