Guest alaventure Posted January 30, 2008 #1 Posted January 30, 2008 I'm also looking for electric horn replacement (need somethin that will fit where it is now but louder?
sarges46 Posted January 30, 2008 #2 Posted January 30, 2008 Just scroll down a bit to the bottom of the page and you will see some horn posts. There are alot of options....stebel, rivco air, friam...to name a couple.
nkbjones Posted January 31, 2008 #3 Posted January 31, 2008 The Stebel chrome air horn will fit in the stock location and is plenty loud. Here is a link to the one I got http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=014&category=34284&_trkparms=algo%3DMESSL%26its%3D%26itu%3DSS%252BSI%26otn%3D25%26po%3DOp1&viewitem=&item=330208568357&_trksid=p3984.m106 This is a fair price and they include all the eletrical wires and fittings that you need to install. Carbon One sells a mounting bracket for this horn, or you can get an L bracket from Home Depot and that will work also.
pappy Posted January 31, 2008 #4 Posted January 31, 2008 I installed the Steibel chrome air horn in place of the existing horn on an 06 Venture. Carbon One's highly polished bracket added a bit of sparkle too. It is plenty loud enough to make those cell phone talking cagers take notice. Easy installation.
BMW Posted January 31, 2008 #5 Posted January 31, 2008 I have the Rivco "Hidden Air Horns" for the RSV. They are loud but not worth the money.
