ragtop69gs Posted January 17, 2013 #26 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) You actually have 3 choices with Straight Talk, AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile networks. The sim card program ( bring your own phone)only works on either T-Mobile or AT&T, if you want the Verizon network you have to buy the phone from them. I have been on Straight Talk (BYOP) AT&T network for a few months now, works great everywhere except my house, only 1 signal bar, we're in a AT&T dead zone (very weak signal. So far I have no complaints. Edited January 17, 2013 by ragtop69gs Correction
BuddyRich Posted January 17, 2013 #27 Posted January 17, 2013 Man this thread title sure got MY attention, not that I wash cell phones very often or anything like that, but thanks for the info!! Yea, Once a year is enough for the washing I think:whistling:
KarlS Posted January 17, 2013 #28 Posted January 17, 2013 Karl, not sure about your area, but here in east Tennessee, Straigh Talk uses Verizon towers and the service is exactly the same, even with the slight dead spot south of Bristol Motor Speedway. You may also have the same service in your area. RandyA The ones I have already checked on uses sprint towers and sprint will not work at all at my house. I have not looked into straight talk yet, Thanks.
