Hand grips

Going to put grip warmers on my Venture,the kind the go under the grips.Can I reuse the stock grips and if so,How do I get them off without tearing them up?If not,what aftermarket grips work on the Venture?I'm not looking for something fancy and expensive like Kuryakyn,just a basic grip.

To get the stock grips off without any damage just work a small screw driver around the open end enough so you can blow compressed air into the opening. That will release the glue and let you work it off. Now that works good on the left side not so sure about the throttle side as I've never tried it. I've always just replaced with after market grips and the throttle side is a bolt on.

V7Goose has a post somewhere about grip heaters he made, that work much better than the grip heaters you want to use. a search should bring up his post.

Compressed air will work on the throttle side too.
