kevin-vic-b.c. Posted December 7, 2012 #1 Posted December 7, 2012 An impaired driver that killed one of our local riders was given her sentance today.... 1 day and probation..... our riding comunity is in tears. She killed our friend, Jana, dang it. http://cfax1070.com/News/Top-Stories/Impaired-driver-who-killed-motorcyclist-goes-free
ragtop69gs Posted December 7, 2012 #2 Posted December 7, 2012 Talk about getting away with murder! If she'd have used a gun with the same result would they have just slapped her hand. The whole local motorcycling community should be camped on the steps of that courthouse demanding justice for Jana. I guess drunk driving in Canada has no penalty, and killing someone while drunk makes it ok to do both
jfoster Posted December 7, 2012 #3 Posted December 7, 2012 Maybe next time she'll take the judge out. Worthless piece of crap.
mraf Posted December 7, 2012 #4 Posted December 7, 2012 WOW! Was that nine year old mentality enough to get her a drivers license? Not much JUSTICE for the victims family.
midnight maddog Posted December 7, 2012 #5 Posted December 7, 2012 In Mississippi, drunk driving murderers get time.
djh3 Posted December 7, 2012 #6 Posted December 7, 2012 Dont know how it is there, but here in the states she could be sued in cival court by family. Wont bring them back but could help get message across. Bikers could get bumper sticker made "I'm a killer" caution I cant drive" and plaster her car with them. Get neighbors to pitch in and put up yard signs that a killer lives next door with an arrow.

I don't know how she got a license but at the time of the accident she was under court order ban on driving as well as not to consume drugs or alcohol....go figure. http://bcove.me/h6vkbxyb http://www.facebook.com/groups/322244447725/?bookmark_t=group Edited December 7, 2012 by kevin-vic-b.c. adding info
chabicheka Posted December 7, 2012 #8 Posted December 7, 2012 That ass of a judge shouldn't be allowed to sit through one more case. who the hell appoints such people to the judiciary? and why are their decisions like they came from god? Some things needs to change with this system. The only explanation that comes to mind is, the drug addict might be his mistress or something.
Grump Posted December 7, 2012 #9 Posted December 7, 2012 chabicheka you can say that again. what i was going to sugest would have had the cops kicking in my door.not to supprising with all the shady things that have been going on in this province.
XV1100SE Posted December 7, 2012 #10 Posted December 7, 2012 1 day (translated to 1 hour) in jail and time spent at a house to get clean. That is NOT justice.
