sleadhed Posted January 29, 2008 #1 Posted January 29, 2008 I was thinking.... what if I lowered the front end instead of raising the rear? What would be the draw backs of doing so?
lockdoc Posted January 29, 2008 #2 Posted January 29, 2008 I did that when I also put on the skinny front Avon. Steering became too light so I lifted the front end back up. Also couldn't access the nipples to inflate the suspension.
AZSpyder Posted January 29, 2008 #3 Posted January 29, 2008 With my height I like the lowered front better. Currently down ½ inch. Was 1 inch but I think the high speed tracking is better for me with half that. Jerry
Rick Butler Posted January 29, 2008 #4 Posted January 29, 2008 Ken, I support this idea, where I have gone in greater detail on the other Lowering Kit post. Rick
2WHEELSFORME Posted January 29, 2008 #5 Posted January 29, 2008 Lowering the front end will reduce your lean angle ability and cause to the front crash bars to drag sooner than the already too soon stock positon.
