alwrmcusn Posted November 14, 2012 #1 Posted November 14, 2012 I think this has been asked before but I don't find it. Is there a car tire that can be used on the front wheel of the 2nd gen Venture? If so would that be a good choice? It seems to me that it would be okay for a trike to use a CT on the front.
gunboat Posted November 15, 2012 #2 Posted November 15, 2012 i'am still looking & it's on my bucket list. reguards don c.
Carbon_One Posted November 15, 2012 #3 Posted November 15, 2012 Haven't found one yet. Still looking though. Until then I'll run a rear tire up front. Larry
Pegasus1300 Posted November 15, 2012 #4 Posted November 15, 2012 At this time there does not appear to be a car tire for the front of an RSV.Look instead for a rear tire of the 150x16 size and mount it in reverse direction. You will get more rubber on the road greater load carrying cap and longer tire life.
alwrmcusn Posted November 15, 2012 Author #5 Posted November 15, 2012 Thanks for the inputs. I did search for CT's in the Venture sizes and did not find any. I have read about using the rear tire mounted in reverse and I'm guessing that is what I'll be doing. I'm probably going to have it done before the chapter ride to STAR days next year.
