TDunc Posted November 13, 2012 #4 Posted November 13, 2012 Wow.. Honda has vision and listens to their buyers.... Hmmmmm What a novel idea Yamaha. I would have one but I'm too long legged to fit behind the fairing... (bet they are working to fix that too)
bongobobny Posted November 13, 2012 #5 Posted November 13, 2012 Looks a little like the Victory which is not a bad thing because I happen to like the Victory Cross Country...
Mike G in SC Posted November 13, 2012 #6 Posted November 13, 2012 Yamaha is currently working on a new Venture, a V4. But this might be a cool replacement for my RSTD in a few years. More of a solo bike.
R3rider Posted November 13, 2012 #7 Posted November 13, 2012 sharp but not readyto give up my rocket yet
rickardracing Posted November 13, 2012 #8 Posted November 13, 2012 Don't like it at all. Looks like a spaceship.
Dragonslayer Posted November 13, 2012 #9 Posted November 13, 2012 http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/firstrides/122_1302_2013_honda_gold_wing_f6b_first_look/ This new wing is gorgeous! Thanks for the big pop up ad. Never did get to see what you were talking about.
Jactana Posted November 13, 2012 Author #10 Posted November 13, 2012 Thanks for the big pop up ad. Never did get to see what you were talking about. Link works fine when i click on it. I also attached the video.
ediddy Posted November 13, 2012 #11 Posted November 13, 2012 Everyone has their likes but I don't like the bike. If I was going for that look I would buy a Harley street glide which is the look honda copied.
Jactana Posted November 13, 2012 Author #13 Posted November 13, 2012 Everyone has their likes but I don't like the bike. If I was going for that look I would buy a Harley street glide which is the look honda copied. I'd buy this over a street glide just for the engine. I bet this thing being 70lbs lighter than a wing will run sub 12 1/4 miles, and do it all day. Those flat sixes will run 200,000 miles without breathing hard. To me it doesn't look anything like a street glide, more like a Victory.
Trader Posted November 13, 2012 #14 Posted November 13, 2012 Wonder why they didn't do an electric adjustable wind screen? They styling looks like it would accept it.
meach Posted November 13, 2012 #15 Posted November 13, 2012 Looks like a Goldwing minus the trunk with a short shield, and if you want self canceling signals you have to get the "Deluxe" edition.
SilvrT Posted November 13, 2012 #16 Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) What's really dumb IMO ... is that the "standard" model doesn't even have self-cancelling turn signals ... ?????? (but it comes as an option on the deluxe model which also includes a centre stand ... doh?) Having said that.... I think it's frikkin RAD! :happy65: Edited November 13, 2012 by SilvrT
ediddy Posted November 13, 2012 #17 Posted November 13, 2012 Like I said, everyone has their likes and dislikes. Time will tell, but I don't think this bike will sell. I believe it will go the way of the harley v rod.

Eck Posted November 13, 2012 #19 Posted November 13, 2012 Looks like we BOTH found our new bikes... http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74373
Yamamike Posted November 13, 2012 #20 Posted November 13, 2012 I would say more like a lot like the Victory! You can bet your a$$ that's exactly the market they're aiming this at.
motorcycle_1300 Posted November 13, 2012 #21 Posted November 13, 2012 looks like a good bike for the little people, just like my 2004 goldwing ok for short trips or short people. Just no place to move your feet. before somebody says highway pegs, they are not much help with the edge of the fairing where it is Al
SilvrT Posted November 13, 2012 #22 Posted November 13, 2012 looks like a good bike for the little people, just like my 2004 goldwing ok for short trips or short people. Just no place to move your feet. before somebody says highway pegs, they are not much help with the edge of the fairing where it is Al Work fine for me ... getting the right ones and at the right position make all the difference. Then again, maybe I'm one of those "little people" LOL
Miles Posted November 13, 2012 #23 Posted November 13, 2012 I have already been on the phone with every Honda dealer within 50 miles of me this morning, giving them at least 15 minutes to open their doors, and every one of them told me that they have not ordered any of these F6B bikes yet. Having had 3 GL-1800's already, and I usually take off the chrome crap and make things blackened out...I really want one of these new F6B Wings. There are some changes I will make to it, to fit the bike to me, but I just have to get one of these bikes. The International Bike Show will be in our area next month, so I can see one in person. If it looks as good in person, then I will have one in my garage as soon as they release them. Maybe my 39th personalized license plate will read...KRAKEN , so it can mean...release the Kraken) Or...maybe...WRAITH Now...which bike or bikes will I get rid of to make room for this new F6B???
we2riders Posted November 13, 2012 #24 Posted November 13, 2012 Kudo's to Honda for listening to the riders!! It really is gorgeous.. Now personally, if I were looking at a 1 up bike I would have to go with a new v-max.. Oh the fun of dreaming..
Squidley Posted November 14, 2012 #25 Posted November 14, 2012 Id have one in a second, I took the trunk off my '86 and the handling characteristics were changed big time. The Goldwing, hands down will out handle any touring bike, sorry to say it, but it's true. That bike without the trunk would be awesome to crank up on a nice curvy road....I wish I had the funds
