plumberman Posted November 12, 2012 #1 Posted November 12, 2012 Just got done wiring bike for trailer . Put converter and 6 panel fuse box with ground under diamond plate and made ridgid fix for plug.
Eck Posted November 12, 2012 #3 Posted November 12, 2012 I dont know, I cant tell from all the dirt on that bike. I think yiuo need to clean it up and wax that thing.... Very clean looking job...looks really clean and neat.....good job!! Something to look at: It may be the picture but in the third picture down in your post, it appears that the flat washer under the bolt that holds the right muffler on is loose (or bent) and may not be large enough to cover the slotted hole in the mounting bracket. Again, this may be an optical illusion in the picture.
plumberman Posted November 13, 2012 Author #4 Posted November 13, 2012 You are right eck , road king mufflers with cheap brackets i bought from ebay , got to make new ones this winter
Snaggletooth Posted November 13, 2012 #5 Posted November 13, 2012 Nice job! Looks great. I hated the exposed, loose wires when I did my trailer hookup. That mounted trailer plug makes a big difference on cleaning things up. It's worth the effort ain't it.
