We ride the bike quite frequently. As a matter of fact, we just got back from a 2 week 4000 miler a few weeks back.

 

However, when she asked me like she did this morning.......well.........DANG IT, I'M STUPID!!!

 

I'm not ready to turn in my man card yet. I will recover!!!!

I'm hoping someone will stand up in the man card meetings you guys will be having and show me mercy. For obvious reasons I need to keep my card.

I'm not gonna beat up on you, looks like everybody else has done a pretty decent job of that. The only thing I've got is that we never need to take for granted that our wives will be able to ride whenever we are. It's been almost 5 years since mine has ridden with me, and I MISS her on the back. Hopefully she's heading back towards the bike though, she's getting her pain pump implant next week, and the Doc is very optimistic that he'll get her back on the bike next year. Good luck in that doghouse though!!

I ran this scenario by my wife and her reply?

She blinked, furrowed her brow a bit, and "wow, really?"

She's the sweetest, most responsible person I know, and she doesn't get it.

My reply would have been, "Get dressed, I'll call for both of us."
