Next weekend I'm puttin the bike away for her long winter's nap. It's going to be staying in a pole bar at my Uncle's place. I figure it would probably be a good idea to invest in a cover to keep dust off of it. I've got the 1300 RSTD, not sure if that's going to require a "Large" bike cover or an "XL" bike cover. Suggestions?

Thanks

Make sure it is a vented cover, and not made of plastic!

They will trap moisture under the cover and everything will rust or pit!

Save your money if it's inside and cover it with a few old sheets or blanket and put some bounce dryer sheets all over and inside it to keep the mice away.

Where he lives that could pose a problem. Snow, ice, and bikes don't mix. Not unless he wants to confirm he's certifiable!!

I suggest that you buy a piece of rubber backed carpet or a cheap tarp to park it on. Especially if the pole barn has a dirt floor but even if it is concrete it will help to keep the dampness off the bike if the building is not heated.

Kirby, I have one listed for sale right now on e-bay, priced at $25.25. Look at the ad @:

"Yamaha '99 - '11, RS Venture Cover with Custom Grommets for the Antennas."

It's an excellant cover, in like new condition, and I've only used it for 3 winters. Take 10% off and I'll ship it for free. Thank.You. Owen.
