Guess there's nothing else to do but "tinker" with the scoot so, here's my Carbon Fiber "tinkering"...
Panjandrum Posted October 14, 2012 #3 Posted October 14, 2012 If we have a wet winter, your bike will be unrecognizable, and significantly heavier come spring. Now I understand why you moved to the Gold-Wing... LOADS of bling and safety chrome available for the Wing!
GeorgeS Posted October 14, 2012 #4 Posted October 14, 2012 Do you have a gov't issued " tinkering permit " ?

SilvrT Posted October 14, 2012 Author #11 Posted October 14, 2012 I think I like the Orange better...
Wrench Posted October 14, 2012 #12 Posted October 14, 2012 Looks good!! Just my .02, but I also think orange would look better than black. How does that c/f tape hold up to the elements? Did you use any heat to get it to wrap around the edges? I think I read somewhere once that if you used a hairdryer you could kinda "mold" it and work it around edges and odd shapes without crinkling it.

I think I read somewhere once that if you used a hairdryer you could kinda "mold" it and work it around edges and odd shapes without crinkling it. I have a different "secret" method ... As for the elements, I had it on my Venture and it seemed to be fine after 3 years.
Oldseadog Posted October 15, 2012 #14 Posted October 15, 2012 It looks good. I like the C/F wrap. I also think that the orange paint looks best.
