Venturous Randy Posted September 28, 2012 #1 Posted September 28, 2012 (edited) It is hard to believe it has been over 41 years since this movie was released. If there ever was a classic motorcycle movie, this was it. Not only was it a great motorcycle documentary, but it was also funny. Steve McQueen was great in it. I remember I had been in the USAF about two and a half years and saw it at the local theater. When it was over, I just wanted to sit there and enjoy the feeling of the love of motorcycling, even though it had been years since I had had one. I am not sure if you have to download zulu to watch this, but if you are interested, here is a link. Enjoy, RandyA http://www.hulu.com/#!watch/79438 Edited September 29, 2012 by Venturous Randy
djh3 Posted September 28, 2012 #2 Posted September 28, 2012 Man that flick played like a month @the local drive in when I was in high school. Lot of good ole memories wth that movie. Steve and Malcom cow trailing was neat to watch a big star just have fun.
KarlS Posted September 28, 2012 #3 Posted September 28, 2012 Yep, will never forget that movie. Went to a theater in a new thing called a MALL and the theater had TWO movie screens. The line for tickets to the movie we went to see was very long and the line for the other movie had no one in line. I don't remember what the movie was we wanted to watch but I won't forget the movie we did watch.
Condor Posted September 28, 2012 #4 Posted September 28, 2012 Loved that movie. Netflix also has it....

Venturous Randy Posted September 28, 2012 Author #7 Posted September 28, 2012 It is really interesting to see these bikes, even race bikes and know that there are a lot of street bikes that are faster and handle better now. RandyA
Ozlander Posted September 29, 2012 #8 Posted September 29, 2012 Malcom Smith become my hero after watching that movie about a dozen times. That movie came out in the beginning of my moto-cross career and all the local racers watched it many times. Sometimes twice in the same night.
darthandy Posted September 30, 2012 #9 Posted September 30, 2012 On Any Sunday II is also good. More professionally done (Although that's not necessarily a good thing!) with some humorous moments. Some of the latter were staged based on descriptions of actual events, but still good for a chuckle, especially if you remember doing something similar yourself. It's also a good chance to see some great riders when they were at their peak. Thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Andy
Venturous Randy Posted October 1, 2012 Author #10 Posted October 1, 2012 Hmmmmm I never even heard of it. Guess now I will have to watch it. Tried the link but the filters here blocked it as a porn site. I changed the link earlier and just tried it and it went right to the movie. RandyA
