etcswjoe Posted September 28, 2012 #3 Posted September 28, 2012 Looks almost like the one I photoshoped minus the trunk
twigg Posted September 28, 2012 #5 Posted September 28, 2012 I know that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but that is one of the ugliest motorcycles I have seen in quite some time.
RandyR Posted September 28, 2012 #6 Posted September 28, 2012 I think Dragonrider/Lewis has his up forsale if anyone wants one. Now that he's gone to a trike.
steamer Posted September 28, 2012 #7 Posted September 28, 2012 I believe its a peek at the future. Its to small to be a serious long range touring bike...but don't be surprised if you see them install a trunk and all the electronics on a large frame, big bore v twin bagger.
Kirby Posted September 28, 2012 #8 Posted September 28, 2012 "Mid size" must mean length, width, height, and weight because we're already riding a 1300 CC four banger! This doesn't even come close. I agree, this one's just fugly!
Brenda H Posted September 28, 2012 #9 Posted September 28, 2012 I know that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but that is one of the ugliest motorcycles I have seen in quite some time. :sign yeah that: I'll take ANY RS over that bike!!
hunter 1500 Posted September 28, 2012 #10 Posted September 28, 2012 The frame looks a lot like the RSTD frame. I like it and think it will be a good seller. They already have the Venture and the Strato deluxe and I think this fills a nitch that needed filling.
eazyduzzit Posted September 28, 2012 #11 Posted September 28, 2012 I like it. I'm glad they're at least making an attempt at a new tourer.
The Marshal Posted September 29, 2012 #12 Posted September 29, 2012 My .02 I think it is a great idea. I started with an '07 V*1300. It was a great bike. The FI was fantastic. Blip the starter and you are ready to roll. I would have really loved to have had a fairing on it. In fact, I might even have kept it, if it had one. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 2007 RSTD that I moved up to. But the V*1300 was a good, slow speed handling bike, and easy to push around.
Stanman Posted September 29, 2012 #13 Posted September 29, 2012 Sure the fairing has changed a bit, but in my opinion other than the engine and no trunk, its not that much different than an RSV. Its the same basic concept with fork mounted fairing, which I personally do not like the looks of. As another member already stated, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
