All kidding aside, I have to date always been able to find repair advice for various things simply using Google and never had to pay for it. If its a car problem ( or appliance problem, etc), you are not the first one, its happened to someone else, and they have posted or blogged about it in a forum somewhere. With Google you have to remember, the free answers are sometimes several pages in. People Pay money to be on the first couple pages.

Thanks Dog I'm still collecting info on what has been done to it. Crank sensor replaced and computer reprogramed but guy doing it was using wrong card?? And charged almost 500 bucks and then said "Come and get it I can't fix it" Supposed to be a garage. Does work on county vehicles.

I assume you checked for spark at the plug. Did you pull the coil wire and check for spark there?

Did you check to see if voltage is being sent to the coil? How about the coil ground?

 

Just a start of the normal suspects.

Dan, not sure on this site's rules for posting links to other sites, but I have a 2000 Grand Caravan and I find a lot of info over at chryslerminivan dot net. Good info over there, might help a bit as they're more into Caravans than here.

I'm running out of ideas and taking this mechanics word for the things he is supposed to have done.

I know. BIG Mistake.

The thing is far enough away to make this a pain. I don't get my truck back til its fixed!!
