Hi,

I've ridden mine with a used Voyager kit installed. I didn't have a lot of money, otherwise the best thing to do for me would have been to buy a used Hannigan converted Trike.

I saved money... Bought used kit... Rewired kit... Put car tire on bike... Modified Voyager kit by adding two braces from kit to bike frame. I'm very happy with the ride & money spent.

It's not as pretty as Hannigan but I didn't spend more than 2750

If you can't afford a trike conversion its the second best thing. They are not as stable as a conversion but it will do the job. You will go through rear bike tires a lot faster. They do take while to dial in to get the ride and handling your looking for.

Makes for an incredibly stable and fun to drive platform for a sidecar. Extreme comfort for the wife and dog and is a huge shopping cart with a motor.

In addition to the Voyager kit, you should also consider the Richland Roadster. It has torsion axles, so it is virtually impossible for uneven roads, bumps, potholes, etc to cause your drive wheel to lose traction. And they are really priced competitively as well. Probably what I will go to if the need ever arises.

I thought that with a sidecar or trike changing the rake was almost a necessity for handling, thought about the trike but the $$, whats a sidecar cost vs towpac??
