T.J. Posted September 16, 2012 #1 Posted September 16, 2012 The wife and I got back Friday after visiting Hocking Hills area. Some real nice riding around there and a lot to get off the bike and see on foot. We left Thursday morning and headed North east and road the scenic ByWays. When the road drops off ahead of you where you can't see it any more until you are on the down side of the hill, can take your breath away. Some great riding in Ohio on the east side. Great roads. We got 850 miles put on our trip. Thanks Ohio.
ragtop69gs Posted September 16, 2012 #2 Posted September 16, 2012 Have to agree with you, we were down there last month. The riding was great and the parks were awesome. We were there on our way home from the WNY international rally so we were not prepared for the hiking it would take to fully enjoy the parks, we will be going back. I never thought Ohio could be so nice.
Yama Mama Posted September 16, 2012 #3 Posted September 16, 2012 I love Hocking Hills! Did you go on the trails? I have lived in Ohio all my life, and always wanted to go there. Then finally I got to go and then I could not get over the beauty there is to see there. It is especially beautiful in the Fall. Now you made me want to go there very soon. There is also nice riding in Holmes county Ohio where the Amish live. You just have to be careful of the buggys, and the road apples. Yama Mama
ragtop69gs Posted September 16, 2012 #4 Posted September 16, 2012 Jeannie and I stayed 2 nights in the area, we did a little hiking to see the close attractions but, we were on a motorcycle trip and didn't plan or equip ourselves for hiking for miles at a time. We will go back and spend a long weekend there so we can hike it all.

Ash Cave was my favorite. We have been to Holmes County about 6 years ago. Just great riding every where around there.
