GolfVenture Posted September 13, 2012 #1 Posted September 13, 2012 Anyone know where one can order replacement lenses. Small one is for the lower wrap around side bag guard. Larger one is for the lower chrome unit below the turn signal and Yamaha Lens.

van avery Posted September 13, 2012 #4 Posted September 13, 2012 I have been told you can put them in Red dye ( LIKE DYING CLOTHES) and it will turn them back to red. I also heard that you can paint them with candy red model airplane paint.
Guest scarylarry Posted September 13, 2012 #5 Posted September 13, 2012 Do you have a truckers supply where you are at? Might check with them if you do..

djh3 Posted September 13, 2012 #8 Posted September 13, 2012 Snoop around some of the antique car fourms and see what tricks those guys have up thier sleeves. Surely this cant be the first time someone has needed to do this on obsolete lenses.
Pegasus1300 Posted September 13, 2012 #9 Posted September 13, 2012 as brake pad said they are available from JC Whitney. They have both sizes. They also used to be available from Drag Specialties maybe still are.If you just want to recolor them Eastwoods used to have a paint/dye to recolor old lenses.

GolfVenture Posted September 15, 2012 Author #11 Posted September 15, 2012 I bought a spray can of red lens spray at an auto store, and sprayed the inside of the lens. Does one also spray the outside surface of the lens or just give the insde another coat? Being that I have 22 to replace, I think the spray can is the way to go.
