I was looking for someone that has the radio controller on the handlebars for a 2nd Gen. Mine seems to acting up and not all the script shows on the screen so I just want to see if the controller is at fault or the nut behind the wheel. :Avatars_Gee_George:

Any body got one to lend me to try out and potentially sell?

I guess I should ask the obvious, did you check and clean all of the connectors inside of the fairing. Mine was acting up, and after cleaning all of the connections and adding dielectric grease, it worked great.

UH Duh..... let me go to the garage and get back to you. :whistling::doh::doh::rotf::rotf:

I may need a little more time to investigate. :Avatars_Gee_George:

Note to self: check the obvious first!

Come on man did ya space it out or not? :confused24: For S&G did ya shake and wiggle connections? How about splitting the controller open and looking for some dampness, or possibly a broken wire. Does it (screen) come on at all or certian patter on when it craps out?

Yah Steve, spray the crap out of the connectors with contact cleaner and reseat them a few times then treat with dielectric grease. A little goes a long way and it is to seal the overall connector from moisture. Grease itself is NOT a conductor...
