Snaggletooth Posted August 30, 2012 #7 Posted August 30, 2012 I always thought they spelled "mall" wrong. In my humble opinion it should be "maul".

rosebud Posted August 31, 2012 #10 Posted August 31, 2012 I hope that you live where it's high and dry and not flodded from Issac.
Phoneman1981 Posted August 31, 2012 #11 Posted August 31, 2012 Send some of that moisture to us!!!! Prairie fires in progress 25,000 acres already lost.
RSTDdog Posted September 1, 2012 #12 Posted September 1, 2012 I grew up in Pensacola and spent some time on the Mississippi Gulf Coast back in 1988 and 1989 . Went to a Mardi Gras parade in Pass Christian in February 89. Nice Parade and community as I recall. I drove down Highway 90 along the coast many times back then, Pre-casino days. Took Hwy 90 all the way to New Orleans once.Hope you guys made it through OK. We just got some wind and rain here as Issac passed by us. Have had afternoon thunderstorms that were worse. RSTDdog
jfoster Posted September 1, 2012 #13 Posted September 1, 2012 I was stationed at the Seabee base from '89 to '92 and would love to go back someday and reminiscence.
RSTDdog Posted September 1, 2012 #14 Posted September 1, 2012 I get to Pensacola 2-3 times a year to see my mom, but haven't been through the Mississippi GC since the Casinos and Katrina. I'm not big on development and real nostalgic for old unadulterated coastal communities.
