Anyone have an approximate idea how much value of a bike is gained or lost for every 10,000 miles on the speedo?

For example a 1991 VR with 10,000 miles vs one with 50,000 miles. And assuming if the two VR are identical in accessories and upgrades.

For sure it would affect the value...but hard to quantify.

I've never heard of a set value of $X per 10,000 miles

Might be a case of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Well I have always believed that an old bike with low mileage is worse than a newer bike with a lot of miles-- to a point-- I would have no problem buying a 1st or 2nd generation bike with 100,000 miles of course for the right price. I think mileage does effect the price but not to much.

The guy with the very low mileage bike thinks he will get a fortune for it but that's not always the case.

I'm not sure there is an answer here or not. LOL
