GaryZ Posted August 23, 2012 #1 Posted August 23, 2012 Gents, I broke a plastic part while removing my carb rack and it is not listed on the parts sites. The part is an elbow that connects a small rubber hose to the bottom of the carb. The hose is listed as call-out #47. The elbow is pictured without a call-out number. I don't know if this part can be removed! Any help will be appreciated . . .
KIC Posted August 24, 2012 #2 Posted August 24, 2012 I have a set of carbs off of my 84 parts bike. Post a picture of what you need and I'll see if I have it.
dingy Posted August 24, 2012 #3 Posted August 24, 2012 Probably looks a little bit like this. I can send it out tomorrow. Same address in Oklahoma City? Gary
Peder_y2k Posted August 24, 2012 #4 Posted August 24, 2012 Looks like the carb bowl drain outlet barb. Don't really need it but is nice to have when draining the carb bowl into a collector can. Many bikes don't have a drain tube for the carb. -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA '83,88 Venture
GaryZ Posted August 24, 2012 Author #5 Posted August 24, 2012 Probably looks a little bit like this. I can send it out tomorrow. Same address in Oklahoma City? Gary Yes, that is it! Is it the drain for the float bowl? I am hoping to get the Beast back together in time to make the Eureka Springs meet. Please send it and let me know how much for it and the postal
Beau-Kat Posted January 30, 2015 #7 Posted January 30, 2015 I see that this is an older thread, but now I'm appealing to you all who may be able to help. I need the same carb bowl drain elbow for my '88. Must've broken it taking the carb rack off. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Rusty
